In an effort to strengthen first and last mile connectivity in urban areas, Capital Region Urban Transport has launched the Odisha Yatri App, a flagship initiative of the Government of Odisha. This mobile-based platform is designed to redefine urban mobility by offering seamless and reliable transport services to the citizens of Odisha and people visiting the State.

The Odisha Yatri App serves as a convenient transport solution, allowing users to easily book normal cabs, 3 wheelers, rent cars for intracity and intercity travels. Since its inception, the app has made significant progress with 10.89 thousand cabs and auto rickshaws registered in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack districts and over 1.72 lakh users onboard with successfully completing more than 2.65 lakh trips, hence establishing itself as a trusted and efficient mobility solution for the commuters.

Looking ahead, Odisha Yatri is set to expand its offerings beyond Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri to Jharsuguda and Sambalpur. In addition to the customary cab and 3 wheeler services. Odisha Yatri app is also in process of including ambulance services by integrating with the app of Department of Health & Family Welfare to ensure immediate response in case of any emergency. Further the process of including boating services in the app is also under pipeline to regulate & streamline manual boating to online services with fixed costs to the tourists visiting Odisha.

With its growing range of services and forward-looking vision, Odisha Yatri is not just a transport app - it is a step toward building a smart, inclusive and multi-modal mobility ecosystem for the people of Odisha.
